The lodge also has a very private honeymoon suite decorated with a four poster king-size bed and suspended on the hillside offering spectacular views. Each of the luxury suites has a private verandah overlooking the game reserve and offering an ideal setting for intimate dinners. The suites are designed, decorated and furnished using strong colours, patterns, textures and materials - influenced by the surrounding bushveld. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious with showers and large stone baths that offer great views of the savannah while guests relax and soak.

The Main lodge boasts a glass-enclosed dining and lounge area which allows panoramic views of the rolling hills and bushveld by day and a myriad of stars - in a clear sky, by night. The wide verandah and bar lead out to a waterfall and rock swimming pool where guests can relax and cool off during the day, while sipping cocktails. The lodge also has four indoor fires as well as two outdoor boma fires which offer romantic, cozy evenings in winter. The lodge offers a unique combination of wide open spaces and discreet intimate places where guests can enjoy private meals and uninterrupted contemplation.

Game viewing at Nambiti is superb and the lodge offers two game drives per day led by experienced and knowledgeable ranger guides.  The 20 000 acre reserve is home to elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino, as well as over 30 other animal species, including cheetah, giraffe, hippo, hyena, impala, springbok and zebra. It is also rich in indigenous flora and birdlife, with over 260 species having been recorded. Guides are well informed about all spheres of the eco-systems, from the smallest insects and different grasses to the largest and best known mammals. The Kwa Cheetah Rehabilitation project located within the Nambiti Game Reserve offers guests a unique opportunity to meet and interact with these majestic cats.

Nambiti Game Reserve is also close to some of the famous battlefields of the Anglo/Zulu and Anglo/Boer Wars as well as various other historic sites. It is also not far from the Drakensberg, a spectacular range of mountains with waterfalls, rivers, streams and caves featuring ancient San Rock Art.  Luxurious Spa Treatments can be arranged and enjoyed in the comfort of one’s own Lodge Suite. Fly fishing for bass is popular, in some of the reserve’s well stocked dams and trout fishing can be arranged in the region. The terrain at Nambiti varies from rolling plains to valleys and mountains and includes the Sundays River which cascades down two dramatic 40 metre waterfalls. The reserve can be explored by 4x4, on foot or via helicopter.

The five-star Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge offers intimate and luxurious accommodation surrounded by spectacular African terrain. The lodge offers the perfect retreat for anyone seeking privacy, romance or simply time to reflect while enjoying exquisite vistas or absorbing the sights and sounds of the African bushveld. It is an ideal venue for intimate weddings, conferences and team building.
