Singita Game Reserve
Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Singita Game Reserve is situated in the South-Western section of the world famous Kruger National Park within the 65 000 hectare Sabi Sand Reserve.

Singita Game Reserve offers visitors an ultimate luxury safari experience on prime game viewing land which is globally recognized for its concentrations of big game, diversity of animal and plant species and frequency of leopard sightings.

Singita meaning ‘place of miracles’ can trace its heritage back to 1925 when James Fawcett Bailies first bought a pristine piece of land in the Lowveld (the present day Sabi Sand Game Reserve). This land remains in his family and his dream to preserve it and protect its wildlife lives on today.

James Fawcett Bailies grandson, the current owner of SIngita, undertook in the early 1990s to focus on preserving his grandfather’s legacy. Using photographs from the 1930’s and with the help of environmentalist Dave Wright he undertook to restore the land to its original condition and also decided to build a luxury game lodge offering exclusive luxury and wildlife experiences. In 1993, Ebony – the first Singita lodge opened its doors and the reserve now boasts 3 lodges in Sabi Sand, 2 in Kruger National Park as well as international lodges in Zimbabwe and Tanzania.

The 3 Singita luxury lodges in Sabi Sand – Singita Boulders Lodge, Singita Ebony Lodge and Castleton Camp are unfenced and offer not just an unrivalled peace and solitude and a world class safari experience but also the perfect balance of hospitality, conservation and community and this is what sets Singita apart.
